About I.M.E.C. srl, Sarzana

I.M.E.C. srl is a wholesaler of electrical supplies with its office and warehouse in Sarzana, in the province of La Spezia, Italy. The initials stand for Ingrosso Materiale Elettrico Cavi: wholesale electrical supplies and cables.

What we do

We sell three product families wholesale: electrical supplies, electric pumps and cables. That is the same description our website carried in the early 2000s, and it is still the core of the business. Most of our customers are electricians, building and services contractors, and maintenance teams who need the right part quickly, without waiting for a delivery from outside the province.

That is what a local wholesaler is for: stock close to the job, the chance to see an item before buying it, and someone on the phone who knows the products. People calling about a replacement part often do not have the full code; with a photo of the rating plate or the part itself, we can nearly always trace the right item. Our premises on Via Pecorina

The office and warehouse share one building at Via Pecorina 51, Sarzana. The customer entrance is under the I.M.E.C. sign; the fenced yard along the side of the building is used for loading and unloading goods.

The area we serve

Sarzana sits at the eastern tip of Liguria, on the border with Tuscany and close to the junction between the A12 coastal motorway and the A15 to Parma. La Spezia and its gulf, the Magra valley, Lunigiana and the Carrara and Massa area are all a short drive away. That is where most of our customers work.
