How we handle your personal data
This notice is given under Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) to anyone who visits imecsrl.com or contacts I.M.E.C. srl.

What data we process
Browsing data. Like any website, the server hosting imecsrl.com automatically logs some technical data about visits: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and operating system. This is needed to run the site and protect it from abuse, and is not used to identify you.
Data you send us. If you email or phone us, we process the details you give us (name, company, contact details, the content of your request) only to reply and, if a business relationship follows, to handle quotes, orders and invoicing.
Cookies. This site sets no profiling cookies, contains no third-party analytics and loads no advertising. That is why you are not shown a cookie banner.
Legal basis and retention
Replies to your enquiries rest on steps taken at your request before entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); browsing data rests on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure (Art. 6(1)(f)). Order and invoice records are kept for the period required by Italian tax law; enquiries that do not lead to business are deleted once they are no longer needed to reply.
Who we share data with
Your data is not sold or published. Only the technical providers we need to operate can access it, such as our web hosting and email providers and our accountant, appointed as data processors where required.
Your rights
You can ask at any time for access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and you can object to processing (Articles 15–22 GDPR), by emailing info@imecsrl.com. If you believe the processing breaches the GDPR, you can complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
